JACK NITZSCHE - DANCE TO THE HITS OF THE BEATLES (1964)

To my Beatlemaniac friends, I present the instrumental album "Dance To The Hits Of The Beatles", by Jack Nitzsche, released in the United States, in 1964, by Warner Records, with the Reprise label.

American Jack Nitzsche (Bernard Alfred Nitzsche) was born in Chicago on April 22, 1937 and died in Hollywood on August 25, 2000, aged 63.

He was a jazz musician, composer, pianist, saxophonist and arranger. He became famous as a composer of film scores, winning an Oscar for the song Up where we belong, from the 1982 film "An Officer And a Gentleman", directed by Taylor Hackford, whose main actors were Richard Gere, Debra Winger and Louis Gossett Jr.

Thee following is a selection from the album "Dance To The Hits Of The Beatles", including two tribute compositions by Jack Nitzsche himself:

01.  I want to hold your hand;
02. She loves you;
03. Chains;
04. My bonnie;
05. I saw her standing there;
06. Ringo;
07. Please, please me;
08. From me to you;
09. All my loving;
10. Twist and shout;
11. It won't be long;
12. Beatle-mania.
