BEATLES OVER EASY - A BONGOLONG COMPITILATION (2010)

In this post, I present a compilation of orchestrated songs, in the "Easy Listening" style, exclusive with Beatles songs.

I got this material from the inactive JbPimentel blog a few years ago and decided to share it again with friends from the LaPlayaBeatles blog.

The collection consists of 43 songs distributed on two discs, listed below:

Nesta postagem, reapresentamos o álbum "The Beatles Songbook", da Orquestra de Paul Mauriat, que foi o volume 4, de uma série de 10 discos, intitulada "Melodies and Memories" e que já tinha sido postado no saudoso blog JB Pimentel.

O disco foi lançado no Brasil em 1974, pela gravadora Phonogram, com o selo (label) Philips e continha as seguintes releituras de canções dos Beatles:

Não há quem em algum momento não cantou ou tocou alguma melodia dos Beatles. Pois é...Muita gente já gravou disco tributo à  maior banda de todos os tempos. Agora chegou a vez de mostrar para os que não conhecem e resgatar para os que já ouviram, o disco tributo da Orquestra Paul Mauriat, intitulado "Salutes The Beatles.

O disco foi lançado, em 1972, na Europa e em alguns países, com o selo Contour, exceto no Brasil. Também foi lançado na França, com o selo Fontana, tendo como título "Joue Les Beatles". O interessante é que todas as músicas constantes nesse álbum já foram lançadas individualmente em diversos discos lançados anteriormente.

Destaco o arranjo das músicas Yesterday, Penny Lane, Let it Be e Lady Madonna. O disco contém as seguintes faixas:
