O espetacular grupo The 12 Cellists Of Berlin Philharmonic é formado por 13 músicos violoncelistas da própria Orquestra Filarmônica de Berlim.
Tocam diversas peças nesse instrumento, entre elas o álbum desta postagem, intitulado “Cello Submarine”, que é composta por clássicos dos The Beatles, com grandes arranjos dos famosos maestros Werner Muller e Rolf Kuhn.
Esse disco foi lançado na Alemanha em três versões, sendo a primeira versão em 1983 e as outras em 1995, todas pela gravadora Teldec Classics.
