This time, I'm revisiting a collection of interesting tracks, released in Brazil in 1994 by the record label Som Livre, entitled "Stars Sing The Beatles."
In my opinion, the highlights of this album are the performances by The Jeff Healey Band, Billy Preston (who played on some official Beatles recordings), and Milton Nascimento.
In this post, I'm including three bonus tracks, which would certainly be included on this compilation. The songs that make up this selection are as follows:
01. Lucy in the sky with diamonds (Elton John);02. Get back (Billy Preston) ;03. Eleanor rigby (Aretha Franklin);04. We can work it out (Stevie Wonder);05. Got to get you in to my life (Earth, Wind and Fire);06. While my guitar gently weeps (The Jeff Healey Band);07. Yesterday (Ray Charles);08. Something (Willie Nelson);09. Here comes the sun (Nina Simone);10. Hello, goodbye (Milton Nascimento);11. And I love him (Esther Phillips);12. Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da (The Marmalade).
Bônus:13. Come Together (The Supremes);14. Hey Jude (Wilson Pickett);15. Here There And Everywhere (Billy Preston).
